STEPS BY STEP PROCEDURE:

1. Shave the area you want to treat

2. Use the IPL device (set the desired gear this is according to your skin tone, the darker your skin the lower the gear level)

3. Cool down the skin, (dry if necessary) then apply moisturizer

To make sure you are using the Handset correctly please be sure to follow these steps:
Make sure the area is shaved and clean before starting treatment.

1) Plug the device in.
2) Quickly click the green flashing light to turn on (back button. Do not hold the button)
3) Click the green light again to select a level.
4) Once the desired level is chosen, put the head of the handset on the area you wish to treat (Make sure the head is fully covered by your skin.)
5) Click the big button until you see a flash, (hold the big button in the front if you want to switch to glide/automatic mode)
6) Repeat steps 4 & 5 until you have finished treating the entire area.
7) Once you're done using the device, hold the green button to turn off and unplug the device from the wall.

Is IPL Hair Removal right for me?

IPL is suc­cess­ful remov­ing body hair due to the pres­ence of a hair pig­ment known as melanin. This absorbs the light energy emit­ted by the device and directs it to the hair fol­li­cle, to remove hair and pre­vent future growth.

Nat­u­rally dark pig­mented skin how­ever will con­tain more melanin than lighter skin tones so more energy is absorbed. This means indi­vid­u­als with dark skin tones are more sus­cep­ti­ble to burns fol­low­ing treatment. This does not exclude all darker skin tones. (Please refer to the skin tone chart below to see if IPL is suitable for you.)

This means IPL may not be effective on very light blonde, red, or grey coloured hair. As long as the root of your hair is brown or black it should work for you! For dark blonde roots the treatment may take longer to take effect but will work with time and consistency, any shade darker will work perfectly!
